Kyoshi Anthony Robson Kyoshi Anthony Robson began his martial arts training in 1973 in Newcastle upon Tyne, England studying Kodokan Judo under Sensei�s John Gallon and John Hudd gaining his Shodan (Black Belt) in 1981. During 1983�1988 while travelling around the UK he studied various martial arts such as Shotokan Karate, Wing Chung, Kick Boxing, Boxing and Judo. But it was In 1988 he was lucky enough to meet an instructor by the name of Bryan Cheek at one of his London based Dojo�s. He has now been training under the direction of Soke Bryan Cheek for the past 23 years and holds a 6th degree black belt in the martial art of Jukoshin Ryu Jiu-jitsu. In 2003 Sensei Robson helped form Jukoshin Ryu International alongside other well respected international master. Sensei Robson was awarded the title of Renshi at the 2003 WEBBS International seminar by Soke Cheek and the technical board of Jukoshin Ryu International.

Through out his Martial Arts career he has attended seminars across the UK and around the world as both Student and Instructor, and at the 2003 World Elite Black Belt Society World congress held in Ottawa Canada was offered and accepted the role of Technical Director for Jukoshin Ryu UK.

kyoshi Robson has organised several Internaional seminars on behalf of WEBBS, in 2006 he organised the first International seminar held by WEBBS and Moto-ha Yoshin Ryu International in Yonago, Japan. He was hounored at this event by Soke Yasumoto Akiyoshi (Founder of Moto-ha Yoshin Ryu) by being appointed as the UK representative for Moto-ha Yoshin Ryu Jujitsu.

In January 2010 Renshi Robson was hounoured by Soke Cheek by being promoted with the title of Kyoshi in the art of Jukoshin Ryu Jiu-Jitsu.

 

Kyoshi Robson founded his own schools around South East London called Sākuru Jiu-Jitsu, teaching Jukoshin Ryu & Motoha Yoshin Ryu Jiu-Jitsu as well as Kobudo, Judo and Self Defence to children and adults of all ages.

Kyoshi Robson teaches Jiujitsu on behalf of various organisations including 'The Scout Association', St John's Ambulance Service as well as local school and Church organisations. Kyoshi Robson is dedicated in ensuring that Martial arts are taught to all that want to learn.
