Sifu Michael Polydorou is the W.E.B.B.S. representative for Cyprus

 

Sensei Michael Alex Polydorou is a direct student of Soke Bryan cheeks  and the webbs & Juko shin Ryu representative for Cyprus  

A student of martial arts since 1984 ,in Muay Thai kickboxing ,JIu Jitsu ,Brazillian Jiu Jitsu  ,Krav Maga and Wing Chun

Achieving coach/instructor level in all arts studied, but since 2004 has devoted his attention to  Muay thai kick boxing ,Jiu jitsu and krav maga  

Where he divides his time between teaching sports combat and self preservations self defence systems, in retrospect both fields require research

Currently ,Studying an American sports science degree ,personal coaching certificates and U.S Army Field combative syllabus. 

In the UK .Michael trained 6 days a week in various martial arts ,whilst also working in nightclub security for some 5 years  ,where relevant in recent years he has drawn upon his experience to better serves and assist clients in their training . 

He teaches and provides lessons to military ,police and public ,whilst also studying Coaching and training methods to enhance his knowledge and better train his champion fight camp of Thai boxers and Jiu Jitsu players .Preparing for 2nd trip to the Muay Thai institute & fairtex FIGHT CAMP . 

Since 2006 Michael has trained members of the British forces and the U.N stationed in Cyprus in C.Q.C �hand to hand combatives for soldiers (GURKHA REGIMENTS )deployed to trouble spots away form Cyprus .He has achieved recognition for his skills and knowledge and has won a 5 year program recognising Juko shin Ryu in his programs. 

Michael Also trains and coaches teams for Sports Jiu Jitsu ,Muay Thai kick boxing ,Pankration and Sambo ,doing very well In all sports. 

He owns the largest and best equip Martial Arts Gym in Cyprus for Jiu jitsu and Thai boxing ,teaching full time and providing some 36 hours of lessons a week ,Teaching Jiu Jitsu and Thai boxing for sports combat & JUKO SHIN RYU & KRAV MAGA ELITE programs for civilians and local and international military personnel. 

In 2010 Michael will be training specialist Military personnel to be deployed in house to house searches for the U.N  ,whilst also preparing for a busy season of events ,seminars ,completions and summer boot camps to develop both his and his students martial arts knowledge .
