Renshi Adrián Alejandro Costanzo began
his martial arts training at the age of 16 in "Judokwai" the International
School of Judo and Jiu Jitsu located in the province of Salta, Argentina .
Adrián's early training was in Tao Lon Shin Kung Fu , when his Sifu moved to
another province he decided to continue his training in Jiu Jitsu and
Personal Protection under the direction of the French Master Francis Daniel
Perez.
In December 1990 after successfully
passing his kyu exams in Jiu Jitsu,
attempts and passes the conditions
(exams) for 1º Dan in Jiu Jitsu and Personal Protection.
At this time he obtains the recognition of the Federation of Jiu Jitsu and
Personal Defence, Licence Nº 741/88.
Adrián Alejandro Costanzo has since been dedicated to teaching,
investigating and developing the art of Jiu Jitsu.
During the year 2000 Master Huber Pena, 8º Dan in Jiu Jitsu, accepts Adrián
after he passes a recognition examination for 1º Dan in the Province of
Tucumán. The following year the Jiu Jitsu Union in Argentina examines Adrián
in the Province of Cordoba and grants him his 2nd and 3rd Dan, in
recognition to his 10 years of devotion to the art. This grade is also
recognised by the South American Jiu Jitsu Federation.
In 2002 Adrián introduced Jiu Jitsu as an extra curricular subject for the
G.C.S.E. levels in the province of Salta.
In 2003, the Jiu Jitsu League led by Adrián Alejandro Costanzo in Salta is
officially recognised as member of the Jiu Jitsu Union in Argentina and he
is nominated by the Association of Sport Trainers in Argentina the National
Trainer for Self Defence.
In November 2004 he obtains a 4º Dan from the Jiu Jitsu Union in Argentina
and 4º Dan from the International Jiu Jitsu Union during an examination in
the Province of Salta Argentina.
In May 2004 the International Budo Union in Spain recognises him as 4º Dan
Life Member, and grant him the title during a seminary in Temuco Chile in
September lead by 7º Dan in Jiu Jitsu Kyoshi Dabauza.
In June of 2004 he is also recognised by the International Federation of
Martial Arts.
In September 2004 he founds the Jun Ketsu Ryu Jiu Jitsu, School of the "Pure
Blood".
In December 2004 is nominated President of the Jiu Jitsu League of
Argentina.
